Children in one place draw. Children in a second place animate. Children in a third place make the sound.

Run it in your place. This kit is everything you need, and anyone may use it.

What you need

Three groups in three different places (a school, a class abroad, friends)
Paper and pens (drawing), a phone or camera (animation), anything that makes a sound (sound)
A simple way to send files between the groups
A few weeks for the three parts

Find two partner groups in other places. Agree on one theme together.
Drawing: the first group draws characters and places for the theme. Photograph every drawing flat, in good light, and send them on.
Animation: the second group brings the drawings to life, one photo at a time (stop-motion with a phone is enough). Send the film on.
Sound: the third group watches the film and makes its sound: voices, music, noises, all made by them.
Put the three parts together into one short film.
Show the film in all three places, if you can at the same time. Everyone sees what the others made.

Before you photograph children or share their names, ask their families and follow the rules of your school or place.
