CRE8 is a collaborative artwork by Ole Ukena: a few simple instructions, followed by children, artists, teachers and volunteers who make work together, across borders.
An artwork made of instructions
Ole Ukena made the structure: the instructions, the workshops, the way the work is shown. Everybody who joins becomes part of it. It is an open hand, an invitation to add.
Each workshop gives one instruction and receives many answers. Shown together, the answers make a work no single person could make: a mirror in which grown-ups see what children still know.

The works: drawings, photographs and films from the workshops, whole, on white walls, with museum labels.
The workshop: a CRE8 project in your space as a participatory artwork, with children and grown-ups.
