Photo Rally The same prompt. A different way of seeing.
Simple questions about your own life, answered with pictures.
Run it in your place. This kit is everything you need, and anyone may use it.
What you need
- A camera or phone for every person or pair
- A list of questions (below)
- A place to walk and look (a street, a village, a school yard)
- About two hours, and time to choose and print
How it goes
- Show the basics: hold the camera still, get close, look for light.
- Give everyone the same list of questions.
- Everyone answers each question with one photograph, in their own way.
- Come back together and choose one photo per question.
- Print or project the answers side by side: the same question, many ways of seeing.
- Each person says which photo is theirs and why they took it.

- Something you like
- Something you don't like
- Something that you see so often that you usually don't notice
- A dream you often have
- A friend or a group of friends
- Something normal and make it look interesting
- Something typical in your country
- The place where you are now
- Colors that you like
- Something funny
